Identity and investment material to aid the sale of The Barclay, Newton Abbot.

The Project

Formally Barclays Bank in Newton Abbot, The Barclay has been beautifully restored and transformed into 20 unique one and two-bedroom apartments.

On Behalf of developers, Newton Abbot Properties Ltd and Armada Property UK, we were tasked with creating an identity and sales brochure with supporting marketing tools for The Barclay.

  • Logo & identity
  • Marketing material
  • Brochure
  • Floor plans
  • Social media

Taking homage to Barclays Banks own identity and design system, the core identity of The Barclay consists of strong blues that run heavily throughout the marketing material. The blue colour has been tweaked to produce a richer and deeper tone that suggests elegance while still having a connection with the former bank.

Our design system for The Barclay, Newton Abbot has been kept clear and simple, a modern and sleek wordmark was developed which can be used across all media. The typeface was carefully considered, a modern sans-serif with a few glyphs to give the identity some character.

Sales Material

Within the design system are templates for social media, documents such as price lists, letters, specification sheets and printed materials. The system allows every piece of marketing to stay consistent whilst increasing customer recognition when selling the apartments.

The design of the sales brochure for The Barclay needed to appeal to national and international property investors looking for opportunities. The content was carefully crafted to include university stats, employment within the area and detailed location information with timings and distances to local amenities, services and transport links to London and other cities. The content was then visually presented, which could be easily digested at a glance.

We created sales floor plans to match the core identity. They have been simplified for a better customer experience with an additional mini map to show the location of the apartment within the building.
